The Art of Jumping to the Wrong Conclusion

…projecting our own sinful intentions and motivations on the actions of others when there is no evidence of such at all. 

Sometimes we mistakenly assume others are viewing us in the way that we privately view ourselves.

Sometimes we project onto the words or actions of another the thoughts, intentions or motivations that we’re actually feeling about someone else.

Sometimes we just put the words and actions of another through our own filters rather than through their filters.

Love God. Love people. Let God be the mind reader, heart skeptic and judge of motivations.
