When someone squanders the gracious and merciful blessing of life, wasting precious resources on anything but glorifying God and enjoying HIM forever, they will eventually end up wallowing in a pit of mud and filth, fighting swine for a morsel of enjoyment.
DON’T CLIMB IN THE PIT WITH THEM.
Hurt for them; pray for them; encourage them; wait for them; receive them with joy and celebration when they humbly crawl out of the pit, repent of their selfishness and pride, and come back into the joyful presence of the Lord their God.
Jesus went to the pit for them. He went to the pit for me. He is sufficient.
